The City of Scottsdale is requesting statements of qualifications (SOQ) from qualified architectural firms/teams for master planning services for Cactus Park Aquatic Facility, located at 7202 E Cactus Road, Scottsdale, Arizona. The intent of this scope of work outline is to provide the framework of the anticipated master plan and preliminary site design efforts and should not be construed as being final and comprehensive. A complete and detailed scope of work will be developed as part of the contract negotiations with the highest ranked firm/team. The following elements are anticipated for the master plan services: Compile and evaluate existing information (i.e., design plans, utility maps, aerial photos, as-builts and City Standards), Perform field investigations and site visits as necessary for master plan concepts, Evaluate the feasibility of the proposed improvements to Cactus Park, Evaluate the feasibility to relocate aquatics facilities to an alternate location. Provide conceptual design and estimates as well as pro and con analysis to aid city decision, Prepare phasing options for construction and conceptual construction schedules and durations, Prepare master plan studies with conceptual design elements. Include programming and Goal setting (vision and direction, guiding principles, etc.). Use of graphics (i.e., renderings and creative visuals) is expected, Prepare preliminary cost estimates (15% level) for full architectural and engineering design and construction, Attend all meetings related to this project as required by City staff, including but not limited to design meetings, public meetings, Development Review Board meetings, and City Council meetings, Facilitate community engagement sessions, both virtual and in-person, to gather community input about desired amenities, and Conduct presentations for City management.
