In general, the work of this on-call consists of providing labor, supervision, tools, equipment, materials, mobile cranes, rigging, scaffolding, and man-lifts required to make any necessary repairs to the Port of Oakland container cranes, removing existing damaged or unsound paint, cleaning and preparing crane surfaces for welding and painting with hand tools and power tools, and painting the prepared surfaces for the period indicated. The work also includes the touch-up of tested or repaired areas. The existing paint of the cranes may contain lead. A California Class A contractor's license is required prior to award of this Contract.
