Description of work: this project includes reconfiguring the current growth chambers layout in the growth chamber lab 1144 to make space for owner furnished, contractor installed: two new walk-in, and three reach-in chambers. The scopes of work are: • reconfigure existing growth chambers to make space for new growth chamber mentioned above. • reroute existing equipment cooling water and drain pipes to relocated growth chambers and provide new deionized water, compressed air, floor drains, and co2 connections to new growth chambers. • reconfigure supply air ducts and air terminals to accomodate the new growth chamber layout. • rebalance supply and return airflows for the space. • reconfigure the lighting layout to accmoodate the new growth chamber layout. • reconfigure the current space and growth chamber electrical circuits to accmoodate the new growth chamber. • all new electrical work shall comply with university of berkeley electrical safety program that was updated according to the NFPA 70e 2018-2021. • relocate existing sprinkler main to accomodate the new growth chambers. • modify existing sprinkler system for new room layout. The successful bidder will be required to have the following california current and active contractor's license at the time of submission of the bid: “B” - General Contractor
