The Port of Richmond (“Port”) is requesting proposals from consultants to complete technical studies necessary to acquire permits to perform maintenance dredging at Terminal 2, the Point Potrero Marine Terminal (PPMT) Berths 7 and 8. As an optional service, provide support for permitting dredging of the entrance channel to the Marina Bay Yacht Harbor (MBYH). We present the locations of the proposed dredge episodes in Attachment A. The Port seeks permits to dredge the berths at Terminal 2 and PPMT to a depth of between 33 and 37 feet at mean lower low water (MLLW) and the MBYH to 12 to 13 feet below MLLW.
