Scope of work includes full compensation for all labor, materials, tools, equipment, and incidentals to furnish and install electrical upgrades to include bollard lighting along pathways, a streetlight for added visibility, and an illuminated park monument sign. Contractor shall furnish and install site improvements to include concrete flatwork for pathways and gathering areas, an accessible picnic table and bench, a bike rack, a drinking fountain with bottle fill station, a dog waste station, and trash receptacles. A comprehensive drainage system shall be installed, including a dry well for the drinking fountain and sidewalk underdrains to direct water toward 5th Street. The contractor shall enclose the perimeter of the park with chain link privacy fencing for added security. Two major turf areas shall be developed, one of which will include a perimeter curb in anticipation of future play equipment installation. Landscaping will be completed around the park, in addition to an irrigation system that will connect to the water main on 5th Street. All Improvements are shown in the project drawings in Appendix B– Harris Park Improvement Plans. All items shall be removed or constructed per City of Fowler standard drawings and specifications. A valid California Contractor's License, Class A, General Engineering, is required for this project. Prevailing wages.
