The Imperial Irrigation District (IID), an irrigation district established under Division 11 of the California Water Code, Sections 20,500 et seq. that provides non-potable water, farm drainage and power services to the lower southeastern portion of California's desert, is requesting proposals from highly qualified Contractors to provide testing and maintenance of medium voltage circuit breakers, switchgears and generating step-up (GSU) transformers for all of IID’s Generation Units. The testing and maintenance is to be conducted on several generator plant devices located throughout IID’s service territory in Imperial & Riverside Counties and will be based on each unit’s scheduled outage, which are subject to minor changes, throughout the term of this service agreement. Contractor shall supply all supervision, tools and materials required to perform this work. All IID Generation circuit breakers, switchgears and GSU transformers, for testing and maintenance, are listed in Attachment D1 – “Generation Plants – Breakers and Switchgear” and ”Attachment D2 – “Generation Plants – Generating Step-up Transformers” of this solicitation package.
