1. These portables will be a phased construction schedule. B14-20 will be first. Then B8-13, then B1-B7. The sequencing and timing of the project will determine how B21 to B35 are completed. Refer to the construction schedule for timelines that must be met by each prime contractor or be subject to liquidated damages. The contractor shall account for any overtime or crew size increases to maintain the schedule. Contractor shall also assume they may be required to work on more than one phase at a time. 2. The District will have all portables on temporary power, communications, and fire alarm prior to the project starting. This contract shall still remove all existing data cabling in the portables and turnover to the District all audio visual, IDF and fire alarm components. 3. Coordinate with the district and its communications, fire alarm, and power teams for shutdown and start-up of each system. Contractor shall account for, in their scheduling, to accommodate the district to perform their scopes of work within the summertime schedule. This also includes the removal of desks, installation of desks, and removal and installation of the portables. All scopes of work for occupancy must be complete during the summer schedule. 4. Contractor shall hire a ground penetrating radar company as well as other means necessary to survey all trench locations to ensure all utilities are found and location and depth are verified. This shall occur prior to any work so that revised routing can be coordinated. The contractor shall provide all conflicts to the design team prior to work commencing so a complete and coordinated design is achieved. The contractor needs to ensure all existing and new underground work does not conflict with new utilities. The is an existing high voltage solar conduit and cabling. Contractor shall identify it and its depth and layout all crossings to ensure its protection.5. New trenching, conduit, boxes, backfill, grounding system and wiring as per the contract documents. Contractor will encounter existing underground utilities from previous portables. Contractor to assume to be working on conduits behind portables as concrete contractor is working on rebar and formwork for foundations to help expedite the schedule. 6. Provide and install fire alarm complete per the contract documents. Prior to procurement of any materials, setup a coordination with District and its Fire Alarm system supervisor for a pre-construction meeting. 7. Provide and install data/communications complete per the contract documents including wiring within the portable, IDF, and terminations. All wiring shall be within walls or ceilings. Prior to procurement of any materials, setup a coordination with District and its Data/Communications system supervisor for a pre-construction meeting. 8. Contractor furnished, and contractor installed projector mount. Pre-qualification required. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
