The project goal is to remodel and repurpose approximately 4,000 SF of a vacant courthouse building and transform the space into county government offices. Currently there are Kings County Department buildings separately located in Avenal. Bringing the departments together under one roof allows for better coordination and communication among services and is more convenient for the public. The courthouse remodel will aim to modernize the outdated facility, enhance operational efficiency and create a more cohesive workspace for county employees.
