SCV Water (Agency) is seeking proposals from qualified firms (Contractor) interested in providing professional construction, renovation, and tenant improvement services. SCV Water is planning to improve the design and look of the Rio Vista Second Floor Kitchen. The existing design, finish and look is outdated. Scope of work: Demo work to be performed: Furnish all labor and materials needed to complete the specified work, Provide all equipment necessary to complete scope of work, Barricade off the work area to ensure a safe and clean working environment, Haul away all materials and debris related to the above scope of work, Remove existing cabinetry installation and reconstruction of new, and Remove any existing flooring and haul off. Work to be performed: 2nd Floor Kitchen: Plumbing: Provide labor and material to remove and replace old angle stop(s), garbage disposal and drain(s) and Provide labor and material to install a new sink, faucet, and garbage disposal per the new floor plan design. Electrical: Provide labor and material to remove any electrical plugs, switches and/or lighting to accommodate the new floor plan. Install electrical finish when ready and Provide labor and material to remove and relocate ceiling lighting as needed. Flooring: Provide labor and material to remove and reinstall install new floor planking per the new floor plan design and Provide labor and material to install new base. Cabinetry: Provide labor and material to build and install new kitchen cabinetry per the new floor plan design. L-shaped Kitchenet, Coffee bar and hardware included. (owner to approve prior to production), Provide labor and material to stain any cabinetry or door paneling as shown in the new floor plan design, and Provide labor and material to re-skin (3) existing door(s) and new refrigerator panels per the new floor plan design. Tile/Countertop: Provide labor and material to install new backsplash white colored tile per the new floor plan design and Provide labor and material to install new recycled glass countertop per the new floor plan design. Drywall/Paint: Provide labor and material to install drywall where necessary, tape, and mud to match existing texture. (smooth) and Provide labor and material to apply (1) coat of primer and (2) coats of paint to all interior wall(s). T-bar Ceiling: Provide labor and material to remove and replace ceiling tile with a new design as shown in the new floor plan design. Prevailing wages.
