The City of Alhambra is requesting a proposal from your firm for professional engineering design services for Sewer Replacement Project on Glenaven Avenue, Orange Grove Avenue, Midwick Drive, La Golondrina Avenue, and Ross Avenue. The Sewer Master Plan identified the Sewer Replacement Project on Glenaven Avenue (from Glen View Dr. to Orange Grove Ave.), Orange Grove Avenue (from Glenaven Ave. to Midwick Dr.), Midwick Drive (from Orange Grove Ave. to West of Ramona Terrace), and at La Golondrina Avenue, and Ross Avenue as deficient in capacity. The existing 12-inch pipe is expected to be surcharged during existing and ultimate peak wet weather conditions. A portion will be surcharged during existing and ultimate peak dry weather conditions. The Master Plan recommends replacement of the existing sewer main with a larger diameter sewer main. The project is also including remove and replace existing sewer manholes; street pavement; and geotechnical investigation. Prevailing wages.
