Major work components include moving of furniture as required to accommodate work, removal, haul away and disposal of existing flooring material including but not limited to carpet, ceramic/porcelain tile, and vinyl flooring from various areas (dormitories, restrooms, hallways, kitchen, day room, offices and other areas as shown on the plans) of the Fire Stations 2 and 4 located at 2441 E, Cortez Street, West Covina , CA 91791 and 1815 Azusa Avenue, West Covina, CA 91792; respectively, complete cleaning and preparation of the concrete slab subfloor including necessary patching, filling and leveling required for installation of various flooring material including ceramic tile and polished concrete flooring per technical provisions of these documents and manufacturer’s installation recommendations, installation of specified vinyl and glazed ceramic tile base boards, and clean-up of the project sites after completion of flooring installation. Contractor is to provide all required, labor, material, and equipment to complete the work according to the project’s specifications and contract documents. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
