The Project will implement an Adaptive Signal Control Technology system along, 1) East Blithedale Avenue from Highway 101 to Camino Alto, and 2) along Camino Alto from E. Blithedale Avenue to Miller Avenue. The goal of the project is to reduce traffic congestion and travel times by improving the coordination and synchronization between signals along the project streets while implementing timing adjustments that are responsive to daily traffic variations. This will be the first centralized traffic control system for Mill Valley and will include setting up the master system control station at a City facility or a remote location, and includes communications between the traffic signals and the master controller.
