The City of Fort Bragg is seeking quotes from qualified contractors interested in contracting with the City to replace approximately 3,700 square feet of flooring in City Hall, located at 416 North Franklin Street, Fort Bragg, CA 95437. This project focuses on replacing the existing carpet in the lobby, Finance Department, Community Development Department, and gym hallway with high-quality, durable materials that meet the City’s needs for long-lasting performance and safety.The selected contractor will be responsible for removing the existing carpet and installing new flooring in the designated areas. The desired flooring is industrial or commercial-grade SPC (Stone Plastic Composite) vinyl plank, which must meet the following specifications: • Waterproof • Non-slip • Minimum 20 mil wear layer • Minimum 10-year commercial warranty Proposals for alternative materials with equivalent or better qualities will be considered. Some areas may require sub-floor leveling before installation, which should be factored into the quote. Design Services: Quotes should include a plan for removing the existing carpet, preparing the subfloor (including leveling where necessary), and installing the new flooring. Contractors are encouraged to provide details regarding the specific materials and installation methods they propose to use, as well as any potential challenges or considerations for the project.
