The objective is to chemically treat various sanitary sewer lines within the City of Pacific Grove to eliminate root intrusion and blockages caused by tree and vegetation roots. This RFP is for professional chemical root control services for the City as part of the City’s ongoing maintenance program for cleaning sanitary sewer mains. The objective is to meet the operations and maintenance requirements of the City’s Sewer System Management Plan to follow best management practices, to ensure public safety throughout the City, and to be vigilant as to not impact the environment while chemically treating of all City main sewer lines.
