This is an on Call contract, which shall be used to provide the City with a readily available work force for general building repairs to existing facilities, new construction of projects less than $175,000, and emergency repairs as the City deems appropriate. In general, the work consists of, but is not limited to repair, replacement, and construction of any structure, shelter or enclosure, specialty work, subcontracting, and miscellaneous associated work at such times and locations as required. Work may include electrical, mechanical, plumbing, or other trades, and in general the contractor shall self-perform general building work and any work they are licensed to complete, and subcontract specialty building trades. The work shall be located within the City of Seaside, Seaside County Sanitation District, City of Del Rey Oaks, City of Sand City, the Ord Military Community and or other area under the jurisdiction of the City of Seaside or US Army Garrison Presidio of Monterey. The City will award an On Call contract to the lowest responsive, responsible bidders for the work set forth in this call for bids based on unit prices. Class B General Building Contractors License Prevailing wages.
