The scope of work generally consists of installing a hydrodynamic separator (HDS) system off the City’s existing 72-inch RCP storm drain that conveys storm water from Placentia Blvd through the Costa Mesa Golf Course and into the Orange County Flood Control District’s (OCFCD) Fairview Channel (OCFCD Facility-D04). The Greenville-Banning Channel and Santa Ana River HDS Installation project involves construction of a continuous deflection separator (CDS) unit on the City of Costa Mesa’s Public Golf Course, just upstream from the Orange County Flood Control District’s head wall structure and the City’s 72-inch RCP outlet/inlet to the OCFCD Fairview Channel. Maintenance and construction access to the new CDS unit will be maintained through the City’s Corporate yard and the City’s Public Golf Course. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
