The City of San Juan Capistrano is requesting Proposals from qualified consultants to provide professional services resulting in the completion of the required Project Approval and Environmental Documentation (PAED), including preliminary engineering, and final Plans, Specifications and Engineering (PS&E) for the La Novia Avenue Bridge Replacement project over San Juan Creek. The project also includes the roadway widening from San Juan Creek Road and Calle Arroyo. This solicitation is for both the PAED and PS&E work. The first phase, which is fully funded, will include the completion of the PAED for the Project. The second phase will include the completion of the PS&E.at which time, the successful Consultant will provide a more detailed scope and fee before starting this phase. The City reserves the right to cancel services for the second phase due to budget or other concerns. The City will amend the contract to include the second phase once scope and fees have been accepted. The selected firm shall furnish all expertise, labor, and resources to provide complete services necessary to fulfill the requirements for the specified work detailed within this RFP. Any changes to this RFP shall only be made by written Addenda. DBE goal is 19%
