The work to be done consists of demolition; removal of buildings (excluding footings), cutting or grinding hold down bolts or other items extending above finish grade, capping sewer laterals, removal of all vegetation including complete root structures, removal of interior fences and appurtenant improvements on the properties at locations as specified herein. This work shall also consist of the removal and disposal of universal waste, asbestos- and lead-containing building materials found in structures and improvements at the location as specified herein. The Contractor or Subcontractor shall be licensed for removal and disposal of asbestos, lead and hazardous materials. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, tools and equipment to demolish and remove the improvements in their entirety in accordance with these specifications and technical specifications and dispose of all materials either as salvage, debris, or both. The Contractor shall also furnish all labor, materials, tools and equipment for removal of asbestos and lead-containing building materials from improvements in their entirety in accordance with these specifications and dispose of all materials properly and all appurtenant work as shown and delineated in the specifications.
