The work to be done consists of sewer improvements in Ball Road at Western Avenue in the City of Anaheim. Sewer flow will be rerouted from the existing 8” sewer main running north-south along Western Ave to the parallel existing 10” sewer main by connect two manholes. The existing 8” sewer main plus siphon will be abandoned. This work also includes remove and replacement of a 10” sewer siphon at the intersection of Ball Road and Western Avenue with a dual 8” and 6” sewer siphon as shown on the plans. The work to be done consists of sewer improvements in Rio Vista Street from Lincoln Avenue to South Street in the City of Anaheim. Sewer flow will be rerouted from the existing 10” sewer main running north south along Rio Vista Street to a new 18” sewer main. The existing 10” sewer main plus siphons will be abandoned. This work also includes abandon and replacement of a 10” sewer main along Lincoln Avenue from the intersection of Rio Vista to approximately 350 ft east of the intersection with a new 10” sewer main as shown on the plans. This work also includes replacement of approximately 140 LF of 12” ductile iron pipe at the intersection of Rio Vista Street and Lincoln Ave. This work includes abandon and replacement of the 12” water main and installation of two new gate valves approximately 440 LF north of the intersection as shown on the plans. In addition to the work described above, the following scope items are typical: sewer pipeline removal, disposal and abandonment; sewer manhole removal, disposal, abandonment, modification, and construction; sewer bypassing to maintain sewer service; trench restoration; sheeting, shoring, and bracing; grind and cap paving; traffic control; implementation of a Water Pollution Control Program and Best Management Practices; and all appurtenant work as shown on the plans and delineated in the specifications. The work consists of grinding and repaving the asphalt pavement, removal and reconstruction of pavement section, removal and reconstruction of curb and gutter, concrete sidewalk, concrete driveway, parkway drain, adjusting manholes, utility vaults, valve boxes and pull boxes to finished grade, replacement of traffic striping, traffic detection devices, raised pavement markers, traffic control, implementation of a Water Pollution Control Program and Best Management Practices, and all appurtenant work necessary to construct the improvements, in accordance with contract documents.
