The project entails maintenance improvements on eight minor streets, and preservation of two minor streets and one arterial street, Central Avenue from Canyon Crest Drive to Quail Run Road, and two alley reconstructions; between 2nd Street and 3rd street from Pine Avenue to Cedar Avenue and between University Avenue and Mission Inn Avenue between Lemon Street and Lime Street. The project generally includes but is not limited to cold milling of existing asphalt pavement, the application of ARAM; resurfacing asphalt pavement with DGAC; slurry sealing streets, repairing concrete sidewalks, driveways, pedestrian ramps, curb and gutters, and cross gutters; replacement of traffic striping; and signage enhancements. Additional maintenance work may be requested to be completed on roadways within a 5-mile radius of any project location indicated on the plans if an unforeseen immediate Public need arises during the Project Term. If requested, additional maintenance work shall be paid at the rates submitted for Project Bid Items and shall be authorized via a Change Order per Section 2-7 of the Standard Specifications referenced in Section 3-7.1.1. Additional new pedestrian ramps may also be requested to be constructed at separate locations throughout the City if an unforeseen immediate Public need arises during the Project Term. If requested, additional pedestrian ramp work shall be paid at the rate submitted for Bid Item 28 and will be authorized via a Change Order per Section 2-7 of the Standard Specifications referenced in Section 3-7.1.1. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
