The City of La Quinta (City) seeks proposals from qualified professional engineering consultants to prepare the plans, specifications and engineer’s estimate (PS&E) for Washington St. Connector to Art and Music Line Project, City Project No. 2023-09. Services and products to be rendered in performing all work associated with this request may include, but may not be limited to: Schedule and attend a field walk with design engineer and City representatives. Schedule and chair a kickoff meeting with the City to discuss the proposed work plan and special concerns. Schedule and chair monthly PDT Meetings with the City. Prepare utility letters for the City to send to Utility Companies and coordinate any required adjustments or relocations. Prepare survey of site including right of way boundaries and easements based on tract maps. Prepare exhibit to provide to impacted HOA and plan to attend two meetings with City and HOA. Prepare PS&E as outlined in the Project Development Process: Plans anticipated to include sidewalk demolition, grading and grading limits, curb ramp replacement, signal modifications, retaining walls/keystone block walls, future CVAG project, utility relocations/adjustments, and landscape/irrigation modifications. Landscape and Irrigation will be modified to separate the landscape from the path to the curb as City maintained and from back of path to property line as HOA maintained. It is all currently HOA maintained. Provide Bid and Construction Support.
