Pipeline 1 – Elm Avenue (P-2750-0068) [See Attachment 3] Replacing an aging 2-in diameter riveted steel pipeline in Elm Avenue from 6th Street to 7th Street with approximately 435LF of 8-in diameter DIP. Install new services, laterals and appurtenances (including individual service lines for each property) and reconnect services to the existing meters. The new pipeline will connect to the existing main at Elm Ave and 6th Street, and tie into the existing main line in 7th, as shown in Attachment 3. Said connections will require a cut-in tee detail. Support information and examples of the cut-in details will be provided by District staff. Coordination with property owners will be required during construction due to the existing pipeline being shut down periodically 2. Pipeline 2 – Egan Avenue (P-2750-0066) [See Attachment 4] Constructing a new 8-in diameter DIP pipeline in Egan Avenue from 6th Street to California Avenue, a distance of approximately 1,050 LF. Install new services, laterals and appurtenances (including individual service lines for each property), connect services to the existing meters, construct new fire hydrants, as determined by the fire department, and abandon existing services located on the alley to the east. The southern end of the proposed pipeline will connect to the existing watermain within Beaumont-Cherry Valley Water District Page 17 December 5, 2024 intersection of 6th street and Egan Avenue, and the northern end of the proposed pipeline will connect to the existing watermain within the intersection of Egan Avenue and California Avenue, as shown in Attachment 4. Said connections will require a cut-in cross and tee details, respectively. Support information and examples of the cut-in details will be provided. Coordination with property owners will be required during construction due to the existing pipeline being shut down periodically. 3. Pipeline 3 – Wellwood Avenue (P-2750-0067) [See Attachment 5] Constructing a new 8-in diameter DIP pipeline in Wellwood Avenue from 5th Street to 8th Street, a distance of approximately 1,220 LF. Install new services, laterals and appurtenances (including individual service lines for each property), connect services to existing meters, construct new fire hydrants, as determined by the Fire Department, and abandon existing services located on the alleys. The proposed pipeline will connect to the existing three-way intersection of Wellwood Avenue and 8th Street at the northern end, and to the existing 10-in pipeline within 5th Street at the southern end, as shown in Attachment 5. The northern connection will require a cut-in tee detail. Support information and examples of the cut-in details will be provided by District staff. Coordination with property owners will be required during construction due to the existing pipeline being shut down periodically. 4. Pipeline 4 – Orange Avenue (P-2750-0099) [See Attachment 6] Replacing an aging 6-in diameter riveted steel pipeline in Orange Avenue from 6th Street to 8th Street with approximately 1,164 LF of 8-in diameter DIP. Install new services, laterals and appurtenances (including individual service lines for each property), reconnect services to existing meters, remove the three existing fire hydrants and replace with new fire hydrants if applicable (one is located approximately 244 LF north of the intersection of Orange Avenue and 6th Street, another is located approximately 542 LF north of the aforementioned intersection, and the last fire hydrant is located approximately 409 LF south of the intersection of Orange Avenue and 8th Street). The new pipeline will connect to the existing pipelines within the intersections of Orange Avenue and 6th Street and Orange Avenue and 8th Street, as shown in Attachment 6. Said connections will require cut-in tee detail. Support information and examples of the cut-in details will be provided by District staff. Coordination with property owners will be required during construction due to the existing pipeline being shut down periodically. Note: This pipe is of importance because it provides service to City Hall and The Police Department. 5. Pipeline 4 – Lincoln Street (P-3040-0021) [See Attachment 7] Beaumont-Cherry Valley Water District Page 18 December 5, 2024 Replacing an aging 6-in diameter riveted steel pipeline in Lincoln Street from Noble Street to westerly street end, a distance of approximately 1,330 LF with a new 8-in DIP. Abandon the existing pipeline in Lincoln street in place, install new services, laterals and appurtenances (including individual service lines for each property), reconnect services to the existing meters, install three new fire hydrants on the south side of Lincoln Street and remove existing fire hydrant on the north side of Lincoln Street (located on the south side of the street, approximately 1,160 LF west of the intersection of the Lincon Street and Noble Street). The new pipeline will connect to the existing watermain within the intersection of Lincoln Street and Noble Street and existing watermain within the intersection of Lincoln Street and Martin Lane, as shown in Attachment 7. Said connections will require a cut-in tee and other details. Support information and examples of the cut-in details will be provided by District staff. Coordination with property owners will be required during construction due to the existing pipeline being shut down periodically. 6. Pipeline 6 – Avenida Sonrisa (P-3330-0007) [See Attachment 8] Replacing an aging 6-in asbestos cement pipeline with 8-in DIP from the proposed 8-in stub out within Avenida Sonrisa (2020-2021 Pipeline Replacement Project) northernly to Avenida Miravilla, a distance of approximately 1,036 LF. Abandon the existing pipeline in place, install new services, laterals and appurtenances (including individual service lines for each property), reconnect services to the existing meters, construct a new fire hydrant on the south side of Avenida Miravilla. The new pipeline will connect to the proposed stub-out within Avenida Sonrisa (from the 2020-2021 Replacement Pipeline Project), as shown in Attachment 8. Said connection will require a cut-in tee detail. Support information and examples of the cut-in details will be provided by District staff. Coordination with property owners will be required during construction due to the existing pipeline being shut down periodically.
