SacSewer’s North Area Corporation Yard (NACY) garage was built in 1980 and is located at 5026 Don Julio Blvd., Sacramento, CA 95842. The garage roof and heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) need replacement. The roof is approximately 20,000 sq. ft. of built-up roofing that was repaired and restored in 2014 and is past its useful life. See Figures 1 through 7. The HVAC equipment shown in the mechanical wells and roof has been removed. See Figures 2 and 6. Some challenges to the project will be to remove the existing solar panel collection system, with their supporting structures, while avoiding a telecommunications tower with hold-down cables and anchors attached to the roof.
