The San Benito County Old Courthouse is located at 440 Fifth Street, Hollister, CA 95023. The building consists of two floors with a total of approximately 24,600 square feet (SF). The selected firm will design a project and bid package to remodel the entire building, to house four departments. The following three departments will be located on the second floor: Assessor, Treasurer-Tax Collector, and Information Technology. The County Library also will be located on the second floor temporarily, until the construction of the Library is finished. The Clerk-Recorder-Elections Department will be located on the first floor.
