Installation of Rauland Telecenter U Life Safety System at McKinley Elementary School. The District has purchased the necessary equipment to install a Rauland Telecenter U Life Safety System at McKinley Elementary located at 600 W. Johnston Street, Colton, CA 92324. The contractor will be responsible for the removing and replacing the existing Simplex 5120 bell system with a Rauland Telecenter U Life Safety System, utilizing a 2 gateway solution. The contractor shall perform the following tasks: Removal and Replacement: Remove the existing Simplex 5120 bell system, and Install the Rauland Telecenter U Life Safety System using a two-gateway solution. Speaker and Zone Setup: All interior speakers will be connected to the Rauland gateways, and Exterior speakers will be divided into two zones, controlled by two Zone Page Modules connected to a new two-channel amplifier. One zone will serve outdoor speakers, and the other zone will control the six exterior horns facing the blacktop. Both zones must be able to operate simultaneously when necessary. Administrative Console & Music Module Installation: Install one Administrative Console and one Music Module in the Front Office using existing ports. Patch Panel & Data Rack Configuration: Install a patch panel in the communications rack and connect it to the existing data rack, and Connect the Rauland Telecenter U Life Safety System gateways and controller to a new rack-mounted Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS). System Integration: The system will integrate emergency messaging, enabling the school to send alerts from various devices: Administrative Consoles, Web user interface, Emergency classroom 4-button switches, Bank-style panic buttons, Mobile phone app, and Integrated campus telephones once programmed with the district’s safety plan. • Additional Features: o Installation of four-button classroom call-in/check-in switches, o Installation of an amplifier and UPS, o Installation of one speaker/message board combination in the front office, o Bluetooth music module, and o Installation of one workflow kiosk in the front office workroom.
