The Commission is soliciting proposals from businesses (hereinafter referred to as Proposer(s) and/or Contractor(s)) to provide Destructive Testing and Repair Services. The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, tools, and equipment necessary to perform destructive testing investigation services on an on-call basis at various residential properties (over 150 sites) within the San Diego Housing Commission (SDHC and/or Commission) portfolio. This work includes the limited demolition of building components to expose and sample plumbing, electrical, and/or structural systems for assessment. Following testing, the contractor will restore all affected areas to their original condition, including drywall, flooring, and other finishes. The contractor is also responsible for minimizing disruption to tenants, implementing environmental controls such as dust barriers, and coordinating tenant needs. If hazardous materials are encountered, proper remediation and disposal must be conducted per regulatory requirements. Task orders will be issued for each project based on site-specific conditions. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
