The International Parkway Bridge is located on International Parkway between I-205 and I-580 and crosses the Delta Mendota Canal. The new bridge consists of two spans. The northbound span is 44 feet wide (2 through lanes and a 12-foot wide Class I bike path) and the southbound span is 48 feet wide (2 through lanes, one left turn lane, and a 6-foot wide raised sidewalk. The new bridge is a new construction to replace an existing 34-foot wide 2-lane bridge. The existing bridge consists of one lane north bound and one lane southbound, with shoulders and no sidewalks. The length of the new bridge span is 151 feet. There is a 2-foot separation between northbound and southbound spans. Work also includes demolition of existing bridge, retaining walls, traffic signal upgrades, and roadway approach improvements. This Project requires a valid California contractor’s license for the following classification(s): Class A, General Engineering Contractor’s License. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
