This Public Works Project consists of furnishing all labor, materials, tools, equipment, services, supervision, and incidentals to the completion of the Project, consisting of installation of landscape in seven separate planting areas along the US 101/Broadway Interchange between Bayshore Boulevard and Rollins Road (includes planting, irrigation system, erosion control and 3-year plant establishment protection), and all other work necessary to complete this Project, according to plans and specifications prepared by the SMCTA and according to the contract documents. The Engineer’s estimate for this project is. $1.7 Million. This estimate is not based on a “contractor’s cost take off” of the project, but is derived from an averaging of costs for work on similar projects in the area of which the SMCTA is aware. This figure is given to indicate the relative order of magnitude of this project and is not intended to influence or effect in any way the amount bid for this project. The Contractor shall perform with its own organization at least sixty percent (60%) of the Grand Total Bid Price of the Work required under this Contract. Bidder’s attention is directed to the Instructions to Bidders for specific requirements. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
