Los Altos School District is located in Santa Clara County and includes seven elementary schools (Almond, Covington, Gardner Bullis, Loyola, Oak, Santa Rita, and Springer), two junior high schools (Egan and Blach), and the District Office. The District primarily serves the community of Los Altos, Los Altos Hills and a portion of Mountain View. The student population is approximately 3400 with approximately 500 employees to support them. Various Projects throughout the district will be valued from $400,000 to $150,000,000. All school campuses are located in the boundaries of the Los Altos School District. The District is currently looking for qualified Consultants for on call project-specific DSA Inspection Services for the Bond Program scheduled to be completed over the next seven (7) years. The Consultant selected will provide inspection services for various projects at multiple school sites on an as-needed basis. The Consultant shall also coordinate and cooperate with the District’s Architect, Special Inspector, Construction Manager(s) assigned to the projects and District Staff. See Exhibit A - Scope of Work, for a more detailed description of the scope of services to be provided by the Consultant. The District intends to select a pool of qualified Consultants that would be pre-qualified for selection of specific projects.
