SCOPE OF WORK: The following information should be used as the basis for the bid. 1. Project Description: The Administration Building at the District’s Gilroy Campus has an inadequate HVAC system that needs to be replaced. Heating is currently being supplied by heating boilers at the Math Building’s central boiler plant. Cooling is currently supplied by condensing units serving interior mounted AHUs. The building is approximately 2,500 square feet. See Exhibit A for floor plan and Exhibit B for building location. 2. Project Scope: Remove existing HVAC in the Administrative Building. Replace with new ceiling mounted units. Remove existing window AC units, replace with new window pane to match existing window. 3. Finney Architects has completed a set of DSA approved Construction Drawings and Specifications for this project. 4. The college will provide the following equipment to be installed by the contractor. a. Daikin VRV BOM (Exhibit C) b. Greenheck ERV (Exhibit D) 5. The contractor shall be responsible for the replacement of the HVAC system as outlined in the provided construction drawings and specifications. Contractor shall also be responsible for disposing of old equipment in the College’s metal recycling. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
