Civil Engineering and Construction Surveying Services for the County of Santa Clara Health System. The County anticipates professional service needs for the following disciplines: • Civil engineering • Electrical engineering • Mechanical/plumbing engineering • Structural engineering • Fire protection engineering • Construction and topographic surveying • Cost estimating b. The scope of services shall include, but not limited to, all or part of the following: • Program verification • Civil engineering design • Construction and topographic surveying • Field investigation and evaluation of existing systems and facilities • Design and development of bid documents including construction documents and specifications • Approvals and permits required by the Department of Health Care Access and Information (HCAI), also known as OSHPD. • Construction administration services including submittal and shop drawing reviews, responses to the contractor’s request for information (RFI’s), site visits, field observation reports, preparation of record drawings based of contractor’s as-built drawings, and project close out support. • Development of cost estimates • Assistance during bidding and construction • Building Code analysis
