The demolition of Building A1 and the demolition of Building T in their entirety, including the concrete slabs, the building foundations, and the building footings. The demolition also includes but is not limited to the exterior entry slabs, exterior tiled roof porches, exterior columns with footings, and exterior masonry wing walls. Other Details The Contractor is responsible for capping the existing utilities, including domestic water, gas, and sewer lines connecting to the existing Building A1 and T prior to demolition. The contractor is responsible for safe off, disconnecting, and pulling all the existing electrical and low voltage utilities, including but not limited to power, data, fire alarm, and security, to the next point of connection, power substation, and MDF/IDF. (All utilities feeding Building A1 and Building T are currently live). .) Contractor should use the hot-tapping method as much as possible to reduce the downtime of all utilities. Existing electrical conduits are encased in concrete, the amount of conduit and construction of the concrete duct bank could be found in the as-built drawings. The extend of the electrical concrete duct bank could be found in the as-built drawings. Contractor to demolish the underground electrical concrete duct bank to 20’ away from the building perimeter walls. DVBE goal is 3%. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
