Working under the direction of Valley Water and in cooperation with participating water retailer partners (retailers), the Program needs to be designed so that Valley Water can view and track the individual water use budgets, landscape irrigation surveys, and corresponding reports while the contractor works directly with the retailers and site owners to obtain site and water usage information. References to “retailers” throughout this Scope of Work refer to the 13 major water retailers in Santa Clara County (with service area boundaries available at www.valleywater.org/find-my-retailer) as well as Valley Water’s well customers and customers of small water systems. Valley Water may be considered the “retailer” when a property obtains its irrigation water from a well or small water system. The contractor will bill Valley Water an initial Program start-up fee, a per-site setup fee, and a flat rate for each water use report distributed, each landscape irrigation survey completed, and other services described herein.
