The City of Santa Cruz Water Department (SCWD) developed the Project to improve the reliability of water supply infrastructure for the City of Santa Cruz (City). The Project is realigning a section of the Newell Creek Pipeline (NCP) in an area with known geological hazards to protect it from future landslide and geological movements. The NCP is a critical component of the City’s water supply infrastructure that transports water from the Loch Lomond Reservoir to the City’s Graham Hill Water Treatment Plant. The Brackney area segment of the NCP has been included in many SCWD risk assessments and is identified in the City’s Local Hazard Mitigation Plan Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
