RCAC was awarded grant funding through the Department of Water Resources’ Small Community Drought Relief Program to implement a bottled water distribution to community members in Siskiyou County that are experiencing drought and/or scarcity of water for drinking and household purposes. RCAC has conducted outreach to identify communities in Siskiyou County that need regular bottled water distributions. RCAC will make purchases on behalf of the community and will work with the Hmong American Advisory Council (HAAC) to coordinate distribution logistics, preferably at a location owned by the bottled water vendor.
