The Scope of work includes: Civil design and environmental clearance/permitting for the pathway that intercepts the Merrydale Road pathway to Los Ranchitos Road in San Rafael. i. A feasibility study was completed that analyzed options for various alignments (Reference Exhibit C in the Attachment A “Sample Agreement”). SMART prefers the “Preferred Route - Caltrans-SMART Route (Yellow-Red, or WTB-TAM Alignment-Red)”, shown on page 52 of 69 in the Puerto Suello Hill Pathway Feasibility Study. ii. Scope includes preparation of detailed drawings, geotechnical analysis, preparation of grade crossing design, and roadway improvements. iii. Complete CEQA clearance. iv. Prepare environmental permit application and mitigation strategies. v. Finalize and complete supplemental technical specifications to include special job specific specifications (please see Attachment J for SMART’s draft technical specifications). vi. Development of engineers estimate, bid sheet, and bid item descriptions.
