The Oxnard Harbor District (District) - Port of Hueneme is seeking proposals from consulting firms to provide Preliminary Design and Environmental Services for P1 Parking Structure. The response to this solicitation will be in the form of a project proposal. This request for proposal is specific to the preliminary design and environmental services to define the permitting and environmental compliance requirements for a proposed new parking structure at the Port of Hueneme. The conceptual level description of the structure is: P1 Parking Structure: This PACED segment, located within Port of Hueneme, entails the design and permitting of a large scale, on-port parking structure to provide the Port with additional first point of rest and export capacity to support the growth of its existing ro-ro customer base and the addition of new customers going forward. The initial concept calls for a three-level, 7,500 vehicle bay structure, capable of handling 150,000 new automobile imports and exports annually. This parking structure will serve as the transfer point between OGVs at berth and the rail or trucks being used to transport the automobiles off port. The structure will encompass a total footprint of approximately 14 acres and will include the following innovative sustainability features and green technologies.
