The Town of Lyons is seeking to replace a portion of their 12” high pressure waterline near the Riverbend site near US36. This segment was constructed after the 2013 flood to create a redundant segment for the Town’s high-pressure waterline and create a looped system. However, a portion of this segment has been turned off and isolated between two valves due to a leak.. It seems that leak might be within the casing under US36. Given the relatively short distance between valves, the Town has decided to just replace the entire portion of pipe. Bonds required.
