The Town of Lyons was a recipient of a Boulder County 2024 Sustainability Matching Grant to hire a consultant to explore the conversion of town-controlled inefficient streetlights to LED streetlights. The project would include analysis of the type and placement of lights, and mitigating measures needed to minimize the effects of light pollution. Once complete, the town will utilize the study to apply for funding to implement components of the plan. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
