This project is intended to replace existing HVAC equipment which serves the Dining area in the University Memorial Center, which has exceeded its’ useful life. The physical construction schedule for this project is January of 2026-July 2026. This project will be bid and awarded February-March of 2025 as the custom units are long lead items. The project in the University Memorial Center (UMC) will demolish two exiting air handling units in the basement with an alternate to remove a third that in none functioning. A new entrance into the basement mechanical room will be constructed for the removal and installation of the new unit. On the first-floor production kitchen an existing grease hood will be removed, and two new hoods will be installed. The existing utility structure below the hood will be removed and a new kitchen equipment utility wall installed Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
