This is for a competitive Request for Bids to select a qualified contractor to provide routine inspections, preventative and predictive maintenance, repairs, and replacement services and parts on existing trash chutes (x35) and Trash Conveyors (x7) monthly, as well as bi-annual deep cleanings. The contract shall include any existing, additional, and/or new DEN assets, equipment, and locations, including material, if needed. The contractor will perform monthly inspections and bi-annual deep cleaning of Trash Chutes. The budget was established on warranty work with the previous contractor. The driving need for procurement was due to the increasingly higher cost of repairs and replacements, low purchasing thresholds, warranty expiration, assets failing, and increased downtime. This contract aligns with DEN's Vision 100 strategic plan pillar "Maintaining What We Have" to support effective lifecycle management, reduce asset downtime, upgrade, and improve existing facilities. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
