The City of Aurora, herein referred to as the Owner, is requesting proposals from firms to provide Construction Management – General Contractor (CM/GC) preconstruction and construction services, herein referred to as the Contractor, who will partner with the Jacobs, herein referred to as the Designer on this project. As part of the team, during the Design/Preconstruction phase of the project the selected Contractor will provide input on schedule, work phasing, constructability, cost estimates, value engineering, and other support as described herein. The selected Contractor will prepare and submit a Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) for each project package. Each GMP will be based on pre-final design deliverables and the Contractor’s understanding of design intent gained through participation in the design process. The Cherry Creek Wellfield (CCWF) serves as an important raw water supply to AW’s Quincy Reservoir and treatment plants. The supply provides benefits to alkalinity management at the Griswold Water Purification Facility (WPF) and, in the future, the Wemlinger WPF. It is also important for decreasing the amount of Rampart Delivery System water required to meet the City’s demands. The scope for the CCWF PFAS Treatment Project, herein referred to as the Project, is to provide PFAS treatment for the CCWF so that it can be restored to the Owner’s supply portfolio Bonds required.
