The government requires a contractor to provide primary connectivity in the Mission Control Station (MCS), Bldg. 442, for five Standard Space Trainer (SST) workstations to the central SST server located in the SBIRS Operations Support Facility (SOF), Bldg. 447, Space Delta 4 requires additional fiber cabling installed in both facilities to establish a direct connection path for the SST workstations in Bldg. 442 to the SST server in Bldg. 447. Additionally, this fiber is needed to support ancillary operational support mission equipment (e.g. Enterprise Collaboration Services or ECS) planned for installation into Bldg. 447. Currently, fiber connectivity for SST workstations used in Bldg. 442 runs from Bldg. 442, through Bldg. 430, and finally back to the SST server located in Bldg. 447. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
