Job Description: The project includes, but is not limited to the supply and installation of the following: • Demolition & Removal • Earthwork • Site Preparation • Protection of Existing Trees • Erosion & Sedimentation Control • Concrete Flatwork • Concrete Curb • Play Equipment & Play Surfacing • Site Furnishings • Plants, Sod, & Soil Preparation • Irrigation Renovations Bellewood is a 2.2-acre park nestled in the quiet Summer Valley Ranch II neighborhood. The park’s proximity to Meadow Point Elementary School means this park is frequented with young children. This project will replace an aged playground with a new accessible one which will include play equipment for children 2-12 years old, benches, trash receptacles, a playground perimeter path and a wider playground entrance path. To limit additional infrastructure changes, the project aims to build within the footprint of the existing playground. Award Funding: This project is being supported, in whole or in part by funds from a federal award by the US Department of Treasury American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA), and must therefore follow all applicable Federal, State and local regulations or restrictions. This solicitation and the resulting contract shall be in accordance with Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards, 2 C.F.R. Part 200. The successful Contractor must be registered on the SAM.gov website and will be required to provide their Unique Entity ID number to the City prior to award. Bonds required.
