The Town of Gypsum (Town) is launching a planning and design effort to convert US 6, between the existing I-70 Interchange and Valley Road (Segment 1), from a single lane to a two lane roadway. It is anticipated that the project will be issued in a series of contracts for the specific defined scope items as the project evolves. At this time, the Town is seeking proposals for overall corridor concept development and preliminary design focusing primarily on the Union Pacific Railroad underpass, the Railroad Avenue intersection, Gypsum Creek Bridge and pedestrian movement throughout the corridor.
