• The County may retain the services of a firm to perform commissioning. Commissioning of the building systems shall be tested and balanced to accepted standards prior to Owner acceptance. As stipulated on sheet S-005 of the Construction Documents. • The new substation will provide much-needed additional services for the northeast area of the County. The project includes reception, administrative areas, conference rooms, patrol room, restrooms, storage areas, booking space, holding cells, sallyport, and support spaces for the various building systems. • The 11,084 square foot substation will be built on vacant property shared with a Falcon Fire District Fire Station. The project will involve an architect, landscape architect, civil engineer, structural engineer, mechanical engineer, electrical engineer, plumbing engineer, technology, and fire protection. There will be utility connections for sewers, water, electric, new driveways, tying into existing driveways, parking areas, and signage. Bonds required.
