Mountain Parks Electric Inc. (MPEI) is seeking qualified and experienced contractors to provide Project Management, Engineering Services, Field Management, Financial Management, and Compliance Reporting support for our upcoming work plan projects. This RFP outlines the scope of services required and adherence to state and federal guidelines, as specified by the Colorado Department of Public Safety, Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Management (DHSEM) under the Hazard Mitigation Grant Program (HMGP) and FEMA. The Powerline Wildfire Mitigation Project involves managing $9.7 million for 6 to 8 approved electric distribution workplan projects located in Grand and Jackson counties in Colorado. This is a phased project, with Phase 1 focused on completing environmental field assessments, final design, developing the construction RFP(s), and related tasks as described within this RFP. Timelines for specific aspects of the scope of work will vary based on the nature of each task and are detailed within each category. Work estimates for Phase 2 should be included in the bid and outlined separately as Phase 2. Extension of Project Management duties into Phase 2 will be contingent upon the official award from FEMA and the amended Grant Agreement between the State of Colorado (DHSEM) and Mountain Parks Electric, Inc., updated bids from Project Management Team, and a signed contract extension.
