The City of Durango invites qualified individuals or firms to submit proposals for a Professional Construction Manager. The City of Durango purchased the historic building at 201 East 12th St. and the Big Picture Building at 215 E 12th St from the Durango Fire Protection District in August 2023. The City Council then directed staff to enhance the city's customer service by redesigning and retrofitting the property as a new home to a centrally located Police Department and City Hall. The project would be paid for primarily through the city’s 2005 Half-Cent Sales tax if voters choose to reauthorize the tax in the city’s April 2025 election. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
