Project Description Colorado Mesa University is seeking bids from qualified contractors to remove the existing welding lab ventilation system and welding gas supply lines and replace with a new indoor air filtration system, separate fume hoods at each welding station, and new gas supply lines in the welding lab at CMU Tech. The project proposes the creation of new welding tables at each welding station as well. The project proposes two new gas fired heating units, new exhaust fans, ductwork and system controls. • The project is the first phase of upgrades to take place in the welding lab at the CMU Tech Bishop Campus. Presently funding is available to complete the existing phase I “East Lab” portion of this project. The “West Lab” scope, phase II, work may be added if and when funding becomes available Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
