Trades: HVAC Contractor: Heating Ventilating Air Conditioning & Controls, Air Handler/Air Chillers. Includes RTU's
The work will include the design and installation of a new HVAC high efficiency boiler and involves the following: ● Assessment of the existing air handler ● Assessment of the existing boiler unit ● Assessment of the existing electrical service and determine if its adequate for the new units/equipment to be installed ● Assessment of existing ductwork and cleaning of ductwork, if necessary ● Assessment of controls systems to determine adequacy for new units and equipment installed. ● Assessment and balancing/calibration of forced hot air system after installation and prior to turning over to the County 2 ● Prepare all permitting documents and acquire all permits required for construction (fees will be paid by the County). ● Prepare complete design, construction plans and cost estimates, for the units to be utilized on this project, including more energy efficient equipment options ● Assessment of the existing building access for the new unit to be installed and removal requirements. ● Construct the approved construction plan that will conform to new building and fire codes ● Conduct startup and on-site training with County operations staff ● Provide the County with the manuals ● All prices include control, any modifications to the existing controller, cabinet, wiring or other appurtenances and any new equipment, wiring, labor, etc. to provide a fully functioning HVAC unit. ● The existing system must remain operational at all times during the construction unless directed by the County Project Manager in writing. ● Proposers shall demonstrate experience in the design and installation of projects. Bonds required.
